The Philips Hue is an 8.5 watt bulb that
produces an impressive 600 Lumens of light. This state-of-the-art lighting
solution is exclusively offered in Apple Stores both online and offline. With
this partnership, a strong push for the energy-efficient LED lighting is seen
to be encouraged for household use.

$ 199. The kit includes 3 Hue
bulbs, a LAN cable and a ZigBee Light Link bridge. Additional bulbs are also available
for $ 56 per piece. The ZigBee-Ethernet bridge box can accommodate up to 50
bulbs can be plugged into a home’s WiFi modem or router.
