How to Create an Effective Content for Your LED Display


Having an effective advertising program for your business doesn’t end in investing in quality LED display. We all know that an LED sign will require a big chunk of your budget but that doesn’t mean that you should no longer invest on the content creation of your electronic messenger. If you really want to maximize the potential of this technology, creating an effective content can make things a lot easier.

If you already have a significant experience in business particularly in advertising, determining what you should and should not include in your LED board is easy. But if you are using LED signs for the first time and is pretty new when it comes to advertising, taking note of the guidelines below can help you in creating a content that gets your message across and make your business more memorable for your customers.

Content is King
This concept is usually attributed to articles and other written form of advertising but if you will look at it, any display no matter how grand or colorful it is, is only good as the content or simply the message that it is trying to send.
Since LED display can only give you a limited space, keeping it short and simple is always a good way to go. Put the significant information first and don’t try to stuff all the things you want to say in a small space. Coming up with a catchy and unique headline can also capture people’s attention easily and can bring your business closer to your target market.

Bigger and Clearer Text
After you were able to come up with a fabulous content, the next challenge is how you will send your message to your customers. Using quality LED signs can give you the advantage because it captures people’s attention due to its colorful display and its ability to switch content depending on the duration of the ads. However, you should still make sure that the letters you use in your display are clear, big, and in sans serif fonts.

There is no need for creative, fully decorated fonts if your customer will be having a hard time reading your content. Remember that people will only spare 10 to 30 seconds of their precious time to look up to your display and remember your message. If your fonts are unclear they will not easily get what you’re saying and won’t look at your advertisement again.

Contrasting Colors

The readability and clarity of your message can also depend on the color combination of your LED sign. Black on white or black in yellow is perfect when you want to make your display simple, white on green looks refreshing to eyes and white on blue promotes loyalty and calmness. Aside from the color combination, you can also experiment on varying the font size of the different text in your LED sign.
