But making an effective marketing LED sign that will surely grab anyone’s attention is quite hard especially nowadays when people’s eyes are into their smart phones and gadgets even while walking, altogether forgetting anything in their environment. And with this as a problem, how can you impress passerby enough to stop and look at your advertisement. Well, as a passerby myself, here are some tips I may give you that can attract someone’s attention.

In our everyday mundane routine, we rarely have time to have fun or laugh before going to our office or class. Humor is one thing that could get anyone’s attention easily. Advertising shouldn’t be boring and either is your LED sign or marketing tool. According to Mark Levitt, “Audiences like to be entertained, but not pitched. People will pay more attention to a humorous commercial than a factual or serious one. The key to funny advertising is assuring the humor is appropriate to both product and customer.”

Some funny advertisements even made their rounds in the internet social media sites and even became famous, thus earning more customers. Remember the “Baby & Me” commercial from Evian? It had a million views in Youtube and was shared by many. How about Coca Cola’s and Pepsi’s advertisement war during Halloween? These are big companies but are not afraid to have some fun even in their marketing mediums.

To be successful in every advertising ad you have in mind, consider these three things: (1) It should capture the attention of your potential customers; (2) it should encourage those potential customers to remember your message and (3) persuade them to actually try your service or product. Getting potential customers to buy without first developing a relationship with them may be quite hard so makes sure that your advertisement can communicate with your target audience--this is the first step to build a relationship or connection with them.

Another thing about advertising is to make sure that even though your ad copy is complemented with graphics and stylized text—make sure to keep the additional materials simple as possible. Get the message straight but makes sure it balances out with your design. According to Business2Community, "You wouldn't want your customers focusing on the graphics and stylized text that are meant to enhance your message, rather than the message itself."
